Rodney Warren & Co solicitors were introduced to me by Sussex Police as their “Duty Solicitors”, who acted at the Sussex Police Eastbourne detention centre.

I was later informed by the regular criminal element that Rodney Warren relied upon good relations with Sussex Police to maintain his solicitors practice and the income derived from such association, therefore acted “hand in glove” with Sussex Police, as not to do so could cause considerable financial loss to himself.

I was first represented by Mr. Peter Fernando, a very astute solicitor who had recently joined Rodney Warren from London, who advised that the case that Sussex Police had against my person was full of holes, with no hard evidence to support it, therefore the possibility of convict was slight.

Mr. Fernando sought on all occasions to put forward a stout defence on my behalf. After time it became apparent that Sussex Police, due to the fact that they had no hard evidence against my person, were suffering serious difficulties.

For some reason, Mr. Fernando left the Practice of Rodney Warren, leaving me in the hands of Rodney Warren himself and Scott Halkyard his assistant.
